The vocals are sung on the Indian note names Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Da, Ni, Sa. This is the equivalent of the western “Do-re-mi” system.
This way of singing is used by Indian singers to chant melodies that have no lyrics.
In the middle part of the track, there are some nice unison lines with sitar and vocals followed again by the main bass theme that ends this adventurous track…
